We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to join our growing agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and managing a range of digital marketing activities, including PPC, paid social, SEO and blog writing. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and highly motivated individual to help drive the growth of our business through effective digital marketing.
As a Digital Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in the team and support the Performance Search Director and Content Marketing Director. Your main responsibility is to support the delivery of digital marketing campaigns for a list of clients and ensure they deliver successful, measurable results.
As a rising star, you will get to explore a variety of digital marketing disciplines, including PPC and content marketing. While there are tasks that must be delivered, we also like to wrap roles around individuals and you will be able to explore what you enjoy and shape the role as you grow with us. You will receive training and mentoring as part of your role, building on your existing skills and learning new ones - pursuing the specialisms that interest you.
This is a role for someone who wants to take their enthusiasm and skills to the next level. We don’t expect you to know everything about everything in this job ad, but you’ll have some understanding of some of it; what we want is a candidate with a great attitude who wants to learn and grow and work with a friendly agency that loves its clients, its work and its people alike.
This role is office-based, but we run hybrid working, with a minimum of three days in the Norwich office.
Support the Performance Search Director and Content Marketing Director in the delivery of campaigns
Manage your workload, including planning tasks using our project management software
Plan, execute, manage and optimise PPC campaigns day-to-day including keyword research, ad copywriting, and campaign optimisation for Google Ads & Bing Ads
Plan, execute, manage and optimise social media ad campaigns, including audience planning, ad copywriting and campaign optimisation.
Implement SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic to our website
Analyse and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, providing recommendations for improvement
Support with account and project management
Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and techniques, and identify opportunities to improve our campaigns.
Help with our own marketing campaigns and activities
Creating ad copy for PPC campaigns
Ensure all content is aligned with client objectives and the strategy
Keyword research
Ad copywriting and design
Blog writing
Bid management and budget optimization
Audience targeting and segmentation
Landing page optimization
Conversion rate optimization
Tracking and reporting on campaign performance
A/B testing of ad creative and targeting
Ongoing optimization of campaigns to meet performance goals
Management of ad spend and budget allocation
Implementation of remarketing strategies
Creation and distribution of email marketing campaigns
Management of social media presence and content creation
Development of SEO strategies and execution of on-page optimization techniques
Off-page optimization, including link-building and citation building
Performance monitoring and reporting on key metrics such as traffic, conversions and revenue
Writing on-page content (including advice, guides, product copy, micro-copy, interviews, and news)
1-2+ years’ experience in a digital marketing role in-house or at an agency (including SEO, Paid/PPC)
Excellent spelling and grammar
A comprehensive understanding of marketing copy (e.g. the importance of understanding the audience, unique selling points, and call to action)
A passion for or keen interest in digital marketing, SEO, PPC and/or social media ads
Experience with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and LinkedIn
Knowledge of Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience executing SEO strategies
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to measure and report on campaign performance
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate campaign results and recommendations to stakeholders
Naturally organised with good time management
Ability to organise and prioritise a busy workload with a flexible approach to tasks.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field
Experience with A/B testing and optimisation of digital marketing campaigns
Knowledge of Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
Experience running paid campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and LinkedIn
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously
An understanding of social listening and related tools
Experience with email marketing and marketing automation
Experience with content creation, including copywriting and graphic design
Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills
Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.
