A bit about the role

We have huge ambitions here at Selesti, and with these visions in mind, we are looking to grow the team. We are primarily based in Norwich, and this role would suit someone who could adopt our hybrid working model (some days in the office, some from home), but we will consider superstar applications from remote workers too.

Who we need

A content strategist to develop and create content for our clients.  You'll know the importance of creating content for SEO, using research tools to define desired target audiences and measure its effectiveness and success.  You'll be an expert storyteller, possessing knowledge of content and consumer trends and produce incredible content across a range of topics. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • At least 2 years of commercial experience in content creation, comms and marketing working in an agency or busy in-house team

  • Evidence of results from previous content campaigns is essential.

  • Ensuring that SEO and SMO strategies are effectively implemented.

  • Working to and monitoring performance of work against client agreed KPIs

  • Managing content calendars and ensuring that the content remains consistent across all platforms

  • Support the team with forecasting, reporting, and new business opportunities, including active participation in pitches

  • Produce content for web, social and paid media campaigns with support from the team

  • Solid working knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, Keyword Planner, SEMRush, Ahrefs et al

  • Experience in developing strategies for client accounts

  • A positive attitude to work with the confidence to suggest and implement changes to drive performance

  • Regular communication with clients to ensure service levels and expectations are being met.

  • Comfortable presenting ideas and strategies in front of clients and at external events.

  • Ability to work on your own initiative and time planning.

  • Motivation to continually learn and develop your skills.

  • Stay up to date with new trends and advancements in our field.

  • Tracking consumer and content analytics and generating reports and presentations

  • To critically analyse data and plan content production to provide measurable results

  • Experience in conducting competitor content reviews and content audits
  • Experience in strategies involving creation of content funnels and content clusters
  • Some experience in DigitalPR would be beneficial but not essential

  • You will ideally have B2B and B2C experience

  • Some Account Management experience would be helpful but not essential

  • You'll ideally have a broad range of digital marketing skills and knowledge of paid, social and web
