A bit about the role

We have huge ambitions here at Selesti and with these visions in mind, we are looking to grow the team. We are primarily based in Norwich and this role would suit someone who could adopt our hybrid working model (some days in the office, some from home) but we will consider superstar applications from remote workers too.

Who we need

We need someone to be a key player in the growth of the agency, bringing new clients in keeping the pipeline full of great opportunities whilst continuing to deliver the value and growth our clients require.

You will be responsible for networking, qualifying leads, filling and nurturing the pipeline, leading pitches and proposals, alongside our fantastic in-house specialists. You will be working directly with our CEO and Leadership Team and therefore this is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious BDM to really take your career to the next level.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience with planning approaches and pitches, and supporting the development of compelling proposals which meet with client’s needs and objectives.

  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing and web development with at least 3 years experience in selling websites and digital marketing face to face, with full responsibility for leading the process from lead to conversion.

  • Confidence and excellent communication skills – you will need to build trust with clients and across our departments, forming strong working relationships with our team.

  • Ability to generate leads through networking and attending events, researching and building prospect lists, reviving old contacts as well as following up on leads generated internally.

  • Collaborative outlook, working alongside the Selesti Leadership Team to fulfil our growth plan.

  • Experience managing and maintaining a CRM system, we use Hubspot.

  • A proven ability to understand the needs of clients and take technical specifications.

  • Experience in writing and submitting tender requests.

  • A track record of high sales performance.

  • Excellent presentation skills and familiarity with the pitch process.

  • Innate organisational skills and discipline around pipeline management.

Additional skills and experience to make you really stand out would include:

  • Hands on Account Based Marketing knowledge.

  • Experience with writing case studies and submitting entries for industry awards.

  • Experience of planning and managing events and webinars.

  • A strong network of contacts across sectors and specialisms.

  • Confident to share expertise in public speaking opportunities.

  • Ability to build a strong partnership network
